Dig Local3.5.3

Do you Dig Local?

Dig Local is not only an app but a rallying cry to fight against the ever-growing number of chains, franchises and big box stores that make a city feel like Anywhere, USA. The Dig Local app connects you to what makes Asheville, NC the funky, delicious, artsy city that it is.

Start Digging Local!

Asheville’s authentic places and happenings are found in the SCOOPS tab where you’ll not only find events and deals, but also helpful info like who’s having Taco Tuesday, pint night or live music.

Check out the LIST tab to see recommendations of AVL’s micro-influencers who’ve got the lowdown on where to go and what to do. Do you already have a list or two of your favorite places in mind? Create a PROFILE and share your lists with family and friends.

The EXPLORE tab is where you’ll find a plethora of original Asheville places with photos, links, maps and helpful “what you need to know” suggestions. You can “like” these as you come across them and instantly add them to one of your lists.

Thanks, for Digging Local!

Dig Local was created by Ted and Flori Pate who are really passionate about promoting authenticity. They believe in supporting people who, like themselves, have taken the risk of following their dream and opening a small business.

Let’s raise a glass to the men and women who bake the bread, brew the beer, create the art, write the songs, book the shows, massage the muscles, crush the grapes, sell the goods, play the music, shape the clay, and much more! Dig Local is a tool that supports these folks and helps you optimize your Asheville experience.
